A giant inflatable heart has been installed underneath Wellington Arch, to mark Valentine's Day.

It's one of Anya Hindmarch's 'Chubby Hearts', an installation by the fashion designer to show her love for the city. It's squeezed into the arch in the middle of Hyde Park Corner roundabout, with plenty of space for pedestrians and cyclists to pass underneath it.

They turned out to be the first of Hindmarch's 'Chubby Hearts', which she described as a 'love letter to London', and they returned in 2019.

Hindmarch makes creative installations something of a habit; her past Fashion Week presentations have including a beanbag 'Chubby Cloud' and a postbox maze.

The Chubby Heart can be seen at Wellington Arch from 14 February 2022, for one week.
