Remember fish Fridays? Good, weren't they? Resurrect the tradition by heading to one of London's best fish and chip restaurants for dinner tonight. It's a tricky dish to get right, but we think these restaurants do a sterling job.

This guided walk round the Strand, Fleet Street and St Paul's surveys London's shifting landscape of power. LOVE SONGS:
Argentine troubadour Guillermo Rozenthuler is at Southbank Centre’s Festival of Love to perform a selection of his favourite love songs from Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Cuba, accompanied by Latin musicians. Free, 1pm-2pm
DRUNK HISTORY:
Far be it for us to encourage you to bunk off work early to go drinking on a Friday but should you be available, there's a Drunk History tour around the South Bank area, featuring re-enactments, quizzes and improvised comedy and studded with bars and pubs of (hopefully) some cultural or historical significance. POLICE CHOIR CONCERT:

Good cause of the day
GrandFest is a one-day festival featuring music, entertainment, food and free masterclasses — organised by the Royal Voluntary Service. Learn the art of wood turning, preserve making, waltzing, crocheting, home brewing and much more from the ‘Grandmakers', experts with a lifetime of experience. Book your free masterclasses now (a donation of £5 would be appreciated) or just go along and talk to some really interesting people. GrandFest takes place on Saturday 13 June, 11am-6pm.
