Sky’s Harrow: A Very British School is an eight-part documentary series starting on Wednesday. Filmed over the course of one academic year, it promises to offer a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse of the school attended by various luminaries from Winston Churchill to Benedict Cumberbatch, and of course, handfuls of politicians and prime ministers. It follows the day-to-day life of the 66 boys in West Acre, one of the school’s 12 houses. You can watch the trailer here.
And later in the autumn (we haven’t heard the exact dates yet) on Channel 4, there’ll be a three-part documentary about top London department store, Liberty. Called Making Liberty, and created by the people behind Inside Claridge’s, the show will focus on the various characters that work in the store, in particular Managing Director Ed Burstell and his right-hand woman, Kate Brindley, Head of Marketing and Communications. The show will follow the pair and their colleagues as they attend New York, London, Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks and work with their buying teams in the run up to the peak Christmas period.
