You have until 6pm today to apply for tickets to the Paralympics Games.
For the first time in Paralympic history, sessions across several sports are oversubscribed already – including Track Cycling, Swimming, the final rounds of Wheelchair Rugby and Wheelchair Tennis. But as with Olympic tickets, they will be allocated on a ballot basis, so get your application in today and you stand as much chance as anyone else of getting in.
If you can’t choose between sports, you can opt for a day pass to the Olympic Park, Excel or the Royal Artillery Barracks, Woolwich and see different events over one day. Day passes will only set you back £10 a person, or £5 a youngster.
Official Paralympic broadcaster, Channel 4, also has some recommendations for the best family friendly tickets to scout for. And with opening and closing ceremony tickets starting at just £20, you’ve nothing to lose with sticking a bid in.
Just do it before 6pm today and hope the London 2012 ticketing website doesn’t fall over at the last minute again.
