Assembly Urges Later Tube Running

baker_st_180310.jpg Caroline Pidgeon used yesterday's Mayoral Question Time to remind Boris of his manifesto pledge to keep the tube running an hour later on Fridays and Saturdays (an opening salvo, no doubt, in the centre-left Assembly parties' bid to point out all the election promises yet to be kept). The Jubilee line is the first in Pidgeon's sights, later running as some recompense for the massive disruption over the last fifty million years (oh alright, it just feels like that long). The Mayor says he's considering the proposal, but when TfL's planning to open ticket offices at Kings Cross an hour later in the mornings to save money, we can't believe they've got the cash to keep a whole line open for an hour twice a week (never mind the rest of the network).
