Santa's Lap: Musical Art

santalap0212.jpg

Every day this month the Londonist team will be pointing you in the direction of a Christmas present that (with a bit of luck) you won't already have on your list. Climb up onto our collective lap and we'll see what we can move from our sack to your stockings...

Today it's all about art as we prepare for the One Ton Show to come to town just in time for Xmas pressie buying. Putting together 100 artists, designers and photographers, the exhibition will show work based around the theme of London Lyrics. You'll be looking at spending £100 for a framed print, but if your best friend is a music maniac then it could just be the perfect individual gift. With work based around The Kinks, Madness, Pet Shop Boys, St Etienne and David Bowie there's something for everyone.

Preview the show online or visit it in person to buy from Thursday (4th) till Sunday in the basement of Shoreditch Town Hall.

Previously authentic underground signs.
