Anyone Can Lose It

Just yesterday we were impressed by the efforts of a former city worker in setting up a charity to raise awareness of mental health issues in the workplace. Well, Stand to Reason may well be due a phone call from one Professor David Taylor for losing it spectacularly, at Camden and Islington Mental Health Trust's annual meeting a couple of weeks ago, apparently "shouting uncontrollably" at 2 service users present for the public meeting. This is a blatant breach of meeting etiquette, but it's even worse when you clock that Professor Taylor is the Chairman of the Trust and has been for 8 years. He's the one person who should be relied upon to hold it together. Apologising profusely after the fact, the poor Prof cited "tiredness" and the professional challenges he's up against for his emotional outburst but unsurprisingly, the service users involved are calling for his immediate resignation.
