Music Choice: Monday 24th - Friday 28th March
Sam Isaac

This week, we offered you the chance to go and see rising star Jack Savoretti on April 1st, enjoyed a triple bill of metal, mayhem and melee, and previewed El Guincho's looped tropical rhythms which are coming to the capital this week.

Looking ahead to this week, Easter Monday offers the tantalising line up of R.E.M., Foals, The Duke Spirit and Robyn Hitchcock all at the Royal Albert Hall to celebrate the ICA's 60th birthday. Understandanbly, tickets went within moments of them going on sale, so good luck getting any last minute tickets. Alternatively, you can catch Sam Isaac at the Borderline, as the ginger singer-songwriter brings his unique Bright-Eyes style sounds to the capital. Tickets are £6 each.

Tuesday sees Finnish metal stars Nightwish play the first of three consecutive nights at the Astoria. Tickets are £17.50 each. Velvet Revolver play the first of two nights at Carling Academy Brixton - tickets are £34.50 each. The Duke Spirit play Koko - tickets are £10 each.

US Pop Idol winner Kelly Clarkson plays Hammersmith Apollo on Wednesday for the first of two nights in London - tickets are £27.50 each. If you want something a bit smaller, post-rockers Redjetson play the lovely Luminaire. Tickets are £6 each from We Got Tickets. R.E.M. and Foals, play free gigs, at the Apple Store and HMV Oxford Street respectively. This Londonista's personal highlight of the live music week, Longview play Dingwalls as they work up to the release of their second album. A smattering of tickets at £7 each are available from We Got Tickets.

Kelly Clarkson

The Quantic Soul Orchestra play Koko for their first show in 18 months on Thursday- If you haven't heard of them, be sure to check them out if you're not doing anything else. They're a live funk project initiated by Will Holland, aka Quantic, which eschews the use of samples in favour of a rawer '70s sound. Tickets at £22.50 are available from We Got Tickets.

To round off the week, The Rifles play the Forum on Friday night - tickets are £13.50 each, whilst The Enemy start the first night of their six night run at the Astoria - some nights still have tickets available. Finally, if you can think of no better night out than joining 10,000 other screaming teenagers then Westlife play Wembley Arena. Tickets are £34.50 each.

We always recommend ethical gig trading site Scarlet Mist as your first port of call for tickets particularly when they're sold out, so check them out and beat the touts. Failing that Gumtree is always a friend.
