A dainty little pub hiding in the backstreets of Fitzrovia. The interior is a true temple of cosiness, with a roaring fire, wooden screens and long padded benches to cuddle up on.
Get here early afternoon on a Saturday and you can grab one of the fireside seats at the far end of the bar. Here you're also concealed by a rare set of 'snob screens', swivelling glass panels to conceal customers from staff... though as they're nowhere near the service area, there's some doubt as to whether they're genuine Victorian.
During the week, the place can get busy as a favoured pub for the staff of the nearby BBC. But catch it at the right time and there a few calmer drinking dens in the West End. Drinks are the usual Sam Smith own brand.
