All hail the Draft House. The most westerly of its London-wide microempire is in Hammersmith, and makes use of the old Laurie Arms on Shepherd's Bush Road.
Regulars of the chain will find most of the usual tropes: a long and varied menu board of beer; third and two-third measures as well as the traditional pint and half; a kitchen specialising in pies; and a fresh well-designed space that attracts both beer-heads and anyone looking for a smart bar. The green chairs are present and correct, too.
This one's bigger than most of its brethren, with an L-shaped seating area stretching back behind the bar. Two small beer gardens lurk to the rear.
