A proper locals pub, tucked away in the back streets of Leyton. It's got just about anything you might want. Pool table, spacious beer garden, two dart boards, weird dog sculpture, and a trophy cabinet that must be the envy of Leyton Orient. It's one of those pubs where everyone clusters around the bar for a chit-chat, but there are plenty of tables around this spacious former hotel to accommodate the conversation-shy. There's a reasonable selection of ales, including something called 'Rita's Special' (we hear rumours it's rebadged Courage, but hey). If you're living nearby, you'll be glad to count this as a local, especially with the regular gig and comedy nights.
