Theatre Director Aaron Paterson is currently staging the world premiere of The Cave, a never-before-staged show by Mervyn Peake, the author of Gormenghast. In this exclusive interview by N Quentin Woolf, Paterson and actress Emily Wallis discuss the challenges offered by a photocopied 1950's script, breaking new theatrical ground and the dark resonances of the play.
