Londonist Out Loud: A Podcast About London, 7 November 2014

Welcome to the latest episode of Londonist Out Loud, a podcast about London, as recommended by The Telegraph. You can listen in-browser, or subscribe via iTunes or RSS. We’re also available on Stitcher.

Londonist Out Loud is presented and produced by N Quentin Woolf.

This week, N Quentin Woolf journeys to an island in the middle of the Thames to meet Jill Sanders and John Inglis. The two artists discuss their Panorama of the Thames Project (launched as part of Totally Thames) in which they've created two epic panoramas of London's river banks — one set in 1829, and one contemporary. They also talk about how John worked on the original Superman film and his near-miraculous survival of an undiagnosed heart condition.

Show notes by Will Noble.

This week's sponsor is CommuterClub, giving you access to the big discounts offered by Annual Travelcards, while providing all the flexibility of buying monthly.
