Londonist Out Loud: A Podcast About London, 25 July 2014

Welcome to the latest episode of Londonist Out Loud, a podcast about London, as recommended by The Telegraph. You can listen in-browser, or subscribe via iTunes or RSS. We’re also available on Stitcher.

Londonist Out Loud is presented and produced by N Quentin Woolf.

This week's guest is Dr Bradley Garrett. He's an LA-born researcher, explorer and photographer who's just published his latest book Explore Everything: Place-Hacking the City. He talks about his discoveries and adventures being part of Urban Explorers: abandoned tube stations, rooftops and sewerage system are his main exploring targets. In particular he focuses on the construction of the interceptor sewer, operated by Victorian civil engineer Joseph Bazalgette back in 1859. It's still working today.

This is the first of two episodes dedicated to Dr Bradley Garrett and his urban exploring exploits.
