Five new platforms, and a grand concourse, are now open at London Bridge station, as a five-year redevelopment nears completion.
Cannon Street services are again stopping at London Bridge, while the new concourse — bigger than the pitch at Wembley — links all of the station's 15 platforms for the first time.
Two new entrances on Tooley Street connect the north and south sides of the station.
As part of the improvements, a new platform has been built at Redhill in Surrey, to increase capacity and reduce delays on the Brighton Main Line.
Says Mark Carne, Chief Executive of Network Rail, "The opening of our landmark station is a shining example of the investment we are making in the railway. I would like to thank passengers for their patience while we transformed London Bridge into the modern transport hub it is today, with more trains to more destinations, connecting north-south London and beyond."
In all, the epic overhaul will have cost £1bn. There has previously been speculation that the it still won't be enough to cope with passenger demand, at what is London's oldest train station.
