Affected by the tube strikes on 1 and 3 March? Halfords is doing free e-bike rental for London's commuters.
From 1 March, the cycle retailer is offering anyone with a valid Oyster card or season ticket the chance to borrow one of their e-bikes for up to a week. (The site currently shows free rental up to six hours, but this will update to seven days when the offer begins.)
It's totally free, although there's a (fully-refundable) £101 deposit so try not to lose your pair of wheels.
How to nab your e-bike? Type your postcode into the store finder to see if your local Halfords is part of the scheme. If so, enter a few details, and you're away. 🚴
The scheme ends 8 March. There are a few conditions, which you can read on the Halfords website.
