BORIS REX: 'The story of Boris Johnson as a Shakespearean tragicomedy' is how play Boris Rex describes itself, and we're rather intrigued. It follows the politician's life from his days at Oxford University, through a general election and into a national catastrophe. OSO Arts Centre (Barnes), £14/£12, book ahead, 30 April-3 May

ZULU BALLET: South African and Western cultures collide in Zulu ballet, Inala. Soundtracked by the Soweto Gospel Choir, 26 musicians, dancers and singers — including members of the Royal Ballet — combine for a lively dance show with traditional Zulu rhythms. PISSARRO IN DULWICH: Dulwich Picture Gallery celebrates the 400th anniversary of neighbouring Dulwich College by displaying a painting of the school's main building by Camille Pissarro. The artwork was created in 1871, and this is the first time it's returned to the area since then. Dulwich Picture Gallery, included in admission (£9), just turn up, 30 April-4 August

CURATOR TOUR: Get an insight into the current exhibition about the war posters of Abram Games by going on a tour of the gallery with a curator. STANLEY KUBRICK: A panel of experts discuss the role of design in the filmmaker's work. Costumes, film posters, props and sets are all covered, including some of the most iconic scenes in cinema. WINSTON CHURCHILL: Author Andrew Roberts discusses his new biography of Winston Churchill, which covers sides of the former prime minister's character that are not often revealed. THE BLUEBLACK HUSSAR: Watch The Blueblack Hussar, a 2013 documentary film about pop star Adam Ant.
