Here's a fluff piece for you: a Sylvanian Families pop-up shop is opening in London this month.
Located in Soho, the temporary store is dedicated to the cutesy animal toys — a staple of many childhoods — and is selling limited edition versions.
Guardian Bear, dressed like a member of the Queen's Guard in full military uniform, is available to buy exclusively at the pop-up store, and is bound to be a hit with collectors and London tourists.
The shop contains a London-themed selfie corner, where visitors can take photos with the characters — some of who will be taking part in regular in-store meet and greets.
Previously unseen dioramas (the settings where the characters can be placed) are also available to view and buy.
If you're wondering how the tiny anthropomorphic creatures can fill a whole shop, there's a whole theme park dedicated to them in Japan, where the brand originated.
Perhaps this is testing the waters for a UK version...
