A whirlwind of movement, adventure, emotion and drama — railway stations make fine settings for a story.

Now, passengers passing through St Pancras International have the chance of getting a tale written especially for them.

Luke Winter will wrote a short story for you at St Pancras station

Luke Winter — best known for writing spontaneous short stories for strangers across the globe — is rattling off personal short tales for St Pancras passers-by, from 19-21 August.

Capturing their experiences, journeys and conversations, he'll create bespoke plot lines — leaving station users with their own unique story to take away.

Luke Winter can be found in residence in the station's summer seating area (in the main concourse of the station, also known as The Arcade) from 10am to 7pm, 19-21 August. Stories are free
