The excellent Gresham College is continuing to provide its free lectures during lockdown, via a series of live streams, and a YouTube 'box set'.

Swot up on pandemics with previous lectures by Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty

If you want to swot up on epidemics and pandemics, head over to YouTube for a 'box set' of 12 lectures given previously by Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty (who appears in the government's current public health adverts on TV) and British historian Richard J Evans.

There's also the chance to watch back around 2,500 previous lectures, covering topics as diverse as mathematical myths, slavery and the City of London, and a history of the penis.
