A Brand New Flower Show Opens In London This Week

Step aside Chelsea, there's a new flower show in town.

The Floral Art & Design Show has its inaugural outing in the capital this week, to mark 60 years of The National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies’ (NAFAS). Floral designers from across the country appear at the event to showcase their work, ranging from traditional bouquets to more unusual masterpieces, all created from flowers.

If you're keen to indulge your inner florist, demonstrations and talks take place throughout the show, showing you how to recreate the masterpieces at home — and the demo bouquets are for sale after the talks, in case you want to take one home and pretend you created it yourself.

The Floral Art and Design Show takes place at Business Design Centre in Islington, and is open to the public 8-10 August 2019. Tickets start at £15 and must be booked in advance.
