Feeling brave? How about a swim in an unheated lido in London... in December?

The Crisis Icebreaker event is back, challenging Londoners to do just that, while raising money to support people experiencing homelessness.

Sign up to take part, and get sponsored to swim a length of the outdoor, unheated lido. There's a £15 registration fee, and a fundraising target of £150 per person, which is donated to Crisis.

Fancy dress is optional, but very much encouraged, with The Lido Ladies judging a 'best dressed' competition. Whatever you wear, you'll receive a Crisis swimming hat to sport on the day.

The fundraising continues on dry land. Raffle prizes include a Liberty advent calendar, and you'll find a clothing donation point for Crisis at Christmas, where you can pass on any unwanted clothes to those who do need them.

Crisis Icebreaker takes place at Brockwell Lido on 7 December 2024. Additional events take place at Parliament Hill Lido (18 January 2025) and Tooting Bec Lido (25 January 2025).
