A Ball Pit Bar Is Coming To London

All your childhood dreams (and a few adult ones) are set to come true in Dalston this week as a ball pit bar for grown-ups opens.

Ballie Ballerson on Stoke Newington Road has a pit with more than 200,000 plastic orbs of fun just waiting to be chucked at your friends' heads.

Inflatable rings and foam toys will also be thrown into the mix, for the full childhood experience, and for an extra dose of retro, the bar will sell drinks made with the likes of Wham bars, Dip Dabs and pink shrimp foam.

In what could be a terrible move, the organisers will initially allow drinks to be taken into the ball pit "and we'll see how it goes". The venue is in possession of a ball cleaning machine called GobbleMuffin, which can disinfect 18,000 balls an hour.

DJs will be playing at the venue throughout most sessions, and Saturdays are bottomless brunch days.

Ballie Ballerson opens on 4 November with tickets available here. Tickets are £5, and you can pick from a 6pm-9pm or 9pm-midnight session. There may be some tickets available on the door, but we doubt it somehow.
