An exhibit that dives into the personal archives of director, writer and artist Tim Burton is coming to London next autumn.
Tim Burton is the mastermind behind such films as The Corpse Bride, Edward Scissorhands, and the Londoncentric Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street; and The World of Tim Burton — which arrives at the Design Museum in Kensington at the end of October 2024 — will immerse visitors in the filmmaker's creative psyche, by way of his personal archives.

There'll be sketchbooks, sculptural installations, storyboards, paintings and photos, in an exhibit that captures a singular imagination, that's been fizzing with ideas from Burton's childhood right through to present day.
The peripatetic exhibition has been globetrotting for almost 10 years (!) now — which gives you an idea of Burton's universal appeal — but this is the first time it lands in London.
