Talks about London... in an historic venue.
For over a decade, the London Salon has presented monthly events that explore the history and culture of our city. They're a joy. Typically, you'll get two speakers, 30 minutes each, offering differing views on a given topic. The talks are followed by a good natured Q&A, and the whole evening is compered by Stephen "The Real Tuesday Weld" Coates.
The Salons are made all the merrier by their location, the historic, 18th century Horse Hospital in Bloomsbury — a venue that has just been saved from closure thanks to an anonymous donation.

The remaining talks for 2025 have just been announced (and include two Londonist writers!). You're advised to book as soon as possible, because the small venue fills up fast. We'll add the booking links to the further off events, once they go live — or keep an eye on this page.
