The Mayor of London will host a free screening of England vs Spain at the O2 this Sunday.
Against group-stage expectations, the Three Lions have made it to the final of Euro 2024. England will play Spain on Sunday 14 July. It's a big deal. It could be the first time the men's team have won anything major since 1966. But where to watch it?
If you don't have tickets for Berlin but still want to watch the game with the atmosphere of a massive crowd, then here's the event for you. Mayor Sadiq Khan will host a free screening of the game at the O2 in Greenwich.
15,000 spaces are up for grabs, but entry is by ballot.
The ballot opens on City Hall’s website at 10am on Thursday 11 July and closes on Friday 12 July at 9am. Successful entrants will be notified via email by midday on Friday to secure up to four tickets.
The ballot link is here (will only go live at 10am on Thur). Sign up now to join the crowd, and see if the men's team can live up to the achievements of the Lionesses.
As the Mayor reminds us, “For those who can’t make it to The O2, there will be a plethora of pubs, clubs, bars and other hospitality venues across London receiving a welcome economic boost and generating a fantastic atmosphere by showing the match." Handily, we've got a guide to some of those other venues.
