Ticket Alert: A Mrs Doubtfire Musical Is Coming To London

A musical based on the 1993 comedy film Mrs Doubtfire opens in London's West End in 2023, and tickets are now on sale.

Mrs Doubtfire The Musical comes to the Shaftesbury Theatre from May, retelling the story of the much-loved Robin Williams film.

Unemployed father Daniel loses custody of his kids, so creates an alter ego, Scottish nanny Euphegenia Doubtfire, to ensure that he can still see them. Much hilarity and a couple of meaningful life lessons ensue.

The show debuted in Manchester this year. Gabriel Vick — who played Feuilly in the 2012 film of Les Misérables — is Daniel, the character portrayed so wonderfully by Williams on screen. Tough shoes frock to fill.

Carla Dixon-Hernandez (Matilda the Musical) is cast as Lydia Hillard, and Cameron Blakely (The Addams Family) plays Uncle Frank Hillard. The full cast has yet to be announced.

Mrs Doubtfire The Musical is at Shaftesbury Theatre from 12 May 2023. Tickets are on sale now.
