The London Eye Reversed Its Direction For The First Time Ever
Look, we know this is a still photo, but the Eye is spinning in reverse. You're just going to have to trust us.

In a very cool case of 'we're surprised this hasn't been done before', the London Eye reversed its direction for the first time ever.

As a promotion marking the end of British Summer Time and the clocks going back this weekend, a few lucky Londoners got to enter the pods spinning the wrong way for an hour in the early hours of Friday morning.

Why is this so exciting? Well, the views you'd usually get at the end of the trip, you now get at the start! And vice versa! Isn't it incredible?!

Ok, so maybe that's a bit of a stretch, but it's still a nice one-off. And yes, we know — it's impossible to see in the photo above which way the wheel is spinning. But be honest. If you'd seen a video of the London Eye and no one mentioned anything, would you have noticed the spin direction?

Here's hoping that when the clocks go forwards in March next year, the Eye will spin double time.
