30p?! That's cheaper than... a glass of milk.

To celebrate 30 years of The Design Museum — although less than three years at its new location — you can get tickets for the Stanley Kubrick: The Exhibition and David Adjaye: Making Memory for just 30p on 4 July.

Perhaps the folks at The Design Museum saw the promotion that Tower Bridge is running and thought they could do better.

So what's the catch? Well there are only 50 tickets for each exhibition and they're first come, first served. Collection only, that morning at the museum. There will also be a free birthday party for the museum the following night, with music, talks, and a sketch session led by award winning illustrator Nicolas Burrows. Be warned, you need to book ahead for tickets.

Commenting on the anniversary, Sir Terence Conran said:

Asked to pick the single most rewarding achievement in my long design career so far, I would not hesitate to say firmly the Design Museum in London.
