The team behind beloved pizza restaurant Franco Manca is branching out into pasta, opening a new restaurant dedicated to the Italian staple in Covent Garden this September.
Strozzapreti is one of the food businesses taking up residence at the new Seven Dials Food Market, the first permanent home for street food market KERB.

Sourdough chef and Franco Manca co-founder Bridget Hugo, and co-founder and restaurateur Giuseppe Mascoli are on the Strozzapreti team, along with pasta expert, Andrea Beccaceci.
The eatery will offer a three-course menu featuring simple antipasti, twists on classic Italian dishes, and fresh pasta made from durum flour and organic English spelt.
Given that Franco Manca is known for its queues, we wonder if Stozzapreti might become the new Padella, the no-reservations Borough Market pasta restaurant for which people line up for hours.

Japanese soul food restaurant Nanban — by Masterchef winner Tim Anderson — is also due to open at Seven Dials Food Market. Other traders already announced for the new foodie hotspot include Club Mexicana, Yum Bun and Rice Guys. There will also be a cheese conveyor belt.
