Just Opened: A Fantastically Floral Terrace Bar With Stunning Thames Views

If you're having Chelsea Flower Show withdrawal symptoms, this new flowery Thames-side bar will sort you — and your Instagram feed — right out.

The Summer in Bloom terrace has taken over part of Oxo Tower Bar's eighth floor Thames-side balcony, with a photogenic pink flower wall nudging up to views of St Paul's Cathedral.

It's the work of French elderflower liqueur brand St-Germain, which has collaborated with the venue's head bartender to create some new cocktails for the terrace.

The Garden of Eden combines apple juice, cranberry and rose syrup with St-Germain, while the more luxurious sounding Due South is a blend of St-Germain, OXO Brut Champagne and lemon and raspberry ripple.

Other cocktails being served here come from How to Spritz French Fluently, a book by St Germain's Global Brand Ambassador, Camille Vidal.

Flower arranging and cocktail making workshops run on the terrace throughout its residence — find out more and book a place by contacting the venue.

The St Germain Summer in Bloom Terrace is at Oxo Tower Bar, until 30 June 2019. Entry is free but booking is recommended, and those cocktails will set you back £12-£17.50 each.
