9 Of London's Most Exclusive Food Experiences To Book Right Now

This is a sponsored article on behalf of Eatwith.

London is a foodie city. But so much choice can be a little overwhelming, even for the most seasoned diner.

Enter Eatwith, a curated selection of dining experiences, helping you narrow down your culinary choices and find something a little bit unique, whether you're planning your next romantic date night à deux, or seeking somewhere casual to catch up with friends.

Eatwith offers supper clubs, pop-ups, cooking classes and food tours, led by London-based chefs, many of whom have worked in the capital's most respected kitchens. The Eatwith team have chosen the experiences to ensure all events offer relaxed social dining settings, often with direct access to the chefs.

Feeling fancy? Book in for a meal cooked by a Michelin-trained chef (without the usual Michelin price tag). Something a little more trippy? Head down the rabbit hole to the Alice in Wonderland supper club. You can browse Eatwith's full range here, but we've selected a few of our favourites:

The Chef's Table at Eleven98

Chef Aidan Brooks is Michelin-trained, and has worked at some of the best restaurants in London. Now he's returned to his east London roots, to offer a Hackney-based social dining experience, The Chef's Table. Focus is on sustainability, with everything on the menu coming from within the borough of Hackney.

Sound good? Get the personal experience at this intimate event, which is limited to 12 people and takes place in the chef's own home. It consists of a seven-course fine dining tasting menu, with Brooks on hand to offer an insight into each dish as it's served to the table.

Next available dates: 8 April, 15 April, 6 May.

Authentic Ethiopian Cooking Class

Whether you're an Ethiopian food aficionado, or know nothing about the cuisine, everyone's welcome at this authentic cooking class. It's led by Ethiopian chef Nazareth, who teaches simple cooking techniques to help you prepare fresh dishes, with key ingredients from Ethiopian cuisine. Something to impress your friends with, next time it's your turn to cook.

Next available dates: 26 March, 2 April, 9 April.

Alice in Wonderland Immersive Supper Club

Take a culinary trip down the rabbit hole at the Islington home of a Michelin-trained chef. Pratap — who's cooked at Gordon Ramsay at Claridge's, and Galvin Bistrot — and his wife Nikhat serve eight courses based on Lewis Carroll's surreal tale. We're promised a multi-sensory dining experience, meaning the fun won't be confined to what's on your plate...

Next available dates: 25 March, 7 April, 14 April.

Rishim Sachdeva's Seven-Course Vegan Supper Club

Chiltern Firehouse, The Fat Duck and The Dairy are some of Rishim Sachdeva's past employers, but now, he's doing things differently. His exclusive pop-up in the private dining room at the Artillery Arms pub near Old Street hosts a maximum of 15 guests at a time — and it's worth being on the list to sample your way through seven plant-based dishes. Sachdeva himself is on hand to mingle with guests and answer questions about the food.

Next available dates: 26 March, 7 April, 14 April.

A Modern Tibetan & Nepalese Dining Experience

In an exclusive members' club beneath the facade of a derelict public house, Asian chef Jon Villar serves up a modern Tibetan & Nepalese feast (a vegan option is also available), in the form of a nine-course tasting menu, with influences from India and China, making the most of the produce found in this region of Asia.

Next available dates: 1, 2, 6 April.

Jam Delish — Plant-Based Vegan Supper Club

Jam Delish is Soho’s first vegan Caribbean pop-up, founded by siblings Jordan and Chyna, who host this supper club at The Sun and 13 Cantons. Dine in a communal setting, trying the pair's own in-house vegan 'meats', pepped up with plenty of Caribbean spice, and washed down with a tropical cocktail or two.

Next available: 23 March, 6 April, 20 April.

'Dollop' — Modern European Brasserie Supper Club

Flowers, candles and a central chandelier; private chef experience Dollop absolutely ticks all the boxes for style when it comes to its rare public events. Places are limited to 20 guests, with a blood orange negroni on arrival, before you're seated around a communal table for a three-course, European brasserie-inspired menu.

And what a menu it is; sharing starters, followed by spiced and braised leg of lamb, and finished with sour cream parfait and a homemade baklava of fig and walnuts on top — though a vegetarian menu is also available.

Next available dates: 15 and 16 April.

The Discovery of Brazil — 7-Course Supper Club

How well do you know Brazilian food? Let chef Felipe introduce you to his native cuisine, in his own home. The expertly-curated 7-course menu is designed to tell the story of the discovery of Brazil, through authentic flavours from the country, kicked off with a lemon caipirinha cocktail on arrival.

Next available dates: 24, 25, 26 March.

Private Pasta Feast Supper Club

All of these experiences are designed to be intimate — it's what Eatwith specialises in. But for an extra-special meal for you and your family or friends, book a private pasta feast supper club.

It's hosted by chef Riccardo (who has Italian heritage, naturally), and takes place on a private terrace on Netil Market. Riccardo will whip you up a three-course, sharing-style menu including a welcome cocktail, a selection of tempting antipasti and pasta dishes and — if you've still got room — a delicious dessert. He specialises in traditional Italian recipes, but with a London twist.

You'll need between four and nine guests to book this private experience — find out more here.

Tempted? This is just a taster menu of the full Eatwith selection. To find out more about these and other unique dining experiences in London (and beyond), check out Eatwith and get booking.
