This is a sponsored article on behalf of Eat and Drink Festival Christmas.

If the word ‘Christmas’ immediately conjures up images of succulent turkey, steaming fruit puddings and wedges of cheese bigger than your head… we’ve got a tasty treat in store for you.

Eat and Drink Festival Christmas is the gathering of all things gorge-worthy about the festive period. There are live demonstrations, expert masterclasses, oodles of tastings and enough street food suppliers to fill your stockings ’til the new year. Taking place at Olympia London from Wednesday 20 to Sunday 24 November 2019, it’s five days of no-holds-barred indulgence. Plus, you can snap up a free pair of weekday tickets! Here’s the low-down.

Get a taste of street food favourites from around the world

No Christmas party would be complete without a damn fine spread, and Eat and Drink Festival Christmas has The Great Eat up its sleeve. Whatever festive feasting means to you, you’ll find it here with a whole host of favourite street food vendors laid out and ready to sample.

From fresh hummus pittas courtesy of Chick P, to Chocofruit’s chocolate-smothered strawberries (hey that’s healthy, right?), make sure you turn up on an empty stomach. Alongside the more traditional fare, you’ll be tempted by the likes of loaded filo pies, German sausages, Jamaican rum cake and some chunky flapjacks to round things off. While you’re making up your mind what to try first, soak up live musical melodies, courtesy of an exciting line-up of artists at The Busker’s Station.

Once you’re feeling more stuffed than a bird-in-a-bird-in-a-bird, turn your attention to stocking your Christmas cupboards at the Artisan Producers Market. Here, you can pick up fresh ingredients and handmade products from some of the nation’s finest independent producers. Locally-sourced meats, chutneys and pickles, artisan sweets, delicate patisserie and enough booze to keep you going well into 2020.

Oh, and don’t forget the cheese! For the first time ever, London’s own Neal’s Yard Dairy are in the house, so you can make all your Christmas dairy dreams come true with a cheese platter to end all cheese platters. Pass the crackers.

Plenty of exhibitors, including every chef's-best-friend KitchenAid, are bringing exclusive offers to the festival. Once you’re finished face-stuffing, you're in the perfect place to pick up a Christmas gift or two from the bargains on offer.
