A teaser trailer for new reality TV series The Real Housewives of London has been revealed.
Not much is given away in the 13-second clip, which shows a red telephone box ringing, followed by an unidentified woman decked out in diamond bracelets and ring picking up the handset, to hear "London's calling".
TRHOL (as fans will soon come to call it) is the latest in the Real Housewives franchise, a reality series following the lives of wealthy women in various locations all over the world, showcasing the ups and downs of their personal and professional lives. Here in the UK, The Real Housewives of Cheshire premiered in 2015, followed by The Real Housewives of Jersey in 2020 (not to be confused with The Real Housewives of New Jersey, one of several locations in the USA where the series is filmed).
The Real Housewives of London has drawn comparisons to Ladies of London, a similar reality show which ran 2014-2016, and which it was announced earlier this month is also returning for a new series.
Production company Universal Television Alternative Studio UK Productions is The Real Housewives of London. Under its previous name, Monkey, it produced Made in Chelsea, another reality series set in the capital focusing on the lives of wealthy young, Londoners — and which makes you grit your teeth and swear at the TV more than is healthy.
Though rumours are swirling online, the TRHOL cast hasn't yet been announced. The show's expected to be broadcast in late 2025, though again, this hasn't been confirmed.
