Animals and hospitals aren't usually a great fit, but one cool cat is bucking this trend.
As shown in this uber-cute BBC video, Mr Meow London is a 'therapy cat' who does the rounds at some of London's hospitals, as a registered Pets As Therapy (PAT) animal.
His VIP pass gives him access to patients who need him most ā they can stroke him, talk to him, and feel all the better for it.
Having called in on patients at Whipps Cross and Royal London hospitals, Mr Meow London is building quite the celebrity profile. As well as being featured by the Beeb, his Instagram account has 6.5k followers ā not bad for a cat.

Pets As Therapy is a charity that's been going since 1983 ā introducing cats and dogs to residential homes, hospitals, hospices, schools, day care centres and prisons across the UK. They are always looking for volunteer pets, and their accompanying humans.
