You probably walk past launderettes all the time — but here's one you'll want to call in at.
Gin brand Hendrick's opens its pop-up, 'Lesley's Launderette' this week. From the outside, it looks like a regular whites-washing establishment. But anyone curious enough to step inside is promised a 'multi-sensory world' based on Hendrick's gin infused with rose and cucumber.
Few details have been released as to what goes on behind those steamy doors, but we do know that it's free to visit, and includes two free drinks.
You'll find Lesley's Launderette located in New Inn Yard, Shoreditch. (The name, by the way, is a nod to Hendrick's master distiller Lesley Gracie.)
Just don't bring your dirty undies along.
Lesley's Launderette is open 15-18 August 2019. Tickets are free and need to be booked in advance. At time of writing they are sold out, but more will be released later today (Wednesday).
