Londoner Without Garden Not Particularly Fussed About Getting 'Touch Of Overnight Rain'

A Londoner is not particularly fussed about getting a touch of overnight rain, he has revealed, on account of him not having a garden.

While people across the rest of the UK have said they're 'really, genuinely grateful that we're finally having a decent summer, but could just do with a little bit of a storm tonight, you know, for the lawn and the delphiniums,' Paul Ruddles, from Barking, says that he'd happily never see another cloud in his lifetime.   

"As long as I can get a cold can of orange Fanta from the Payless round the corner, I honestly don't care if there's a never-ending drought," he said, "That'll teach people to afford gardens.

"Now excuse me, while I got and see how my recycling bins are getting on," he added.
