Unfolding the River Thames presents a series of illustrations from Westminster to Greenwich, with the River Thames a constant companion through each drawing.
On the reverse, Moira provides a brief history to the area shown in each scene, along with annotations for the chief landmarks.
Moira depicts the city in beguiling style, with key landmarks ever-so-slightly elongated, but in a way that still looks natural. Old and new sit comfortably side-by-side.
