Track down these 25 sculptures throughout Kensington and Chelsea.
Hot on the heels of Chelsea in Bloom, the Royal Borough has another lure for those who like wandering the streets in search of creative installations.
As part of the Kensington + Chelsea Art Week, 25 sculptures have been secreted around the borough. They're quite well spaced out, so you might want to do it over several trips:
Located across nine zones, the Art Trail takes up residence at some of West London’s most beautiful and iconic sites, including Duke of York Square, Sloane Street, Royal Avenue on the King’s Road, Earl’s Court, North Kensington, Holland Park, High Street Kensington, and Knightsbridge.
Which must be the first time in its history that Earl's Court has been described as beautiful. But there we go.
The biggest contributors are the ubiquitous Gillie and Marc, whose animal sculptures are becoming as much part of the "London scene" as red buses, selfies with phone boxes, and damp queues. The pair have supplied 10 sculptures on Knightsbridge and King's Road to serve as a sub-trail "especially for children".
Elsewhere, you can track down art by the likes of Yoni Alter, Charlotte Colbert, Julian Wild, Matthias Neumann, Grow to Know, Simone Brewster, Annie Trevorah, Amy Jackson, Gus Farnes and Egor Zigura.
