A vigil will take place in Parliament Square this evening (17 June 2016) for those who wish to pay their respects to Jo Cox. The Labour MP was attacked and killed yesterday, following her constituency surgery in Birstall, West Yorkshire. The vigil runs from 7.30pm till 10pm, with a two minute silence at 8pm.
It is one of many taking place across the country this evening, and follows a number of impromptu vigils in the wake of the tragedy yesterday.
