Funky Fit Outdoor Street Dance Fitness Class
For two months this summer, starting early July, Funky Fit are taking their dance fitness classes outside to Clapham Common. Wearing wireless headphones, you'll be guided through a cardio workout, choreography workshop and learn a cool new dance routine to a hip hop classic. This new 'alfresco funking' takes place every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, by Clapham Common's bandstand.

Hyde Park Scavenger Hunt
Grab your fittest, cleverest mates and join in this scavenger hunt which will see you dashing around Hyde Park. Test your knowledge of the natural world, uncover the hidden history of the park and get creative, all in one summer's evening. There are points awarded for each clue you solve; will your team emerge victorious?

The Vitality British 10k London Run
Take on the challenge of a 10k in central London. Starting on Hyde Park Corner, runners will make their way past London landmarks including the London Eye, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. You'll complete a loop of Parliament Square and then head towards the finish line on Whitehall.

Great London Newham Swim
Make a splash in this urban open water swim, in the shadow of Canary Wharf, The O2, and the ExCeL centre. The Great London Newham Swim takes place in Royal Victoria Dock, and offers a 1/2 mile, 1 mile or 2 mile course. It's suitable for all abilities: expert safety kayakers will be with you every stroke of the way.

Great East End Walk
Choose from a 5, 10 or 15 mile route for this Great East End Walk fundraiser for St Joseph's Hospice, and take your 'plates of meat' through the heart of London’s East End, from peaceful public parks to vibrant canal paths. This year's route concludes in the ever-popular London Fields, where you can enjoy games, stalls, entertainment and post-walk refreshments.

Poppy Walk
Join 800 walkers for the annual 10km London Poppy Walk for The Royal British Legion: set off from the City Road, and search for clues en route to test your knowledge of London. The pace is up to you; you just need to be back at base by 4.30pm to check you found all the answers.

Spin Up Class
Take on a free boomcycle Spin Up class on the glass walkways of Tower Bridge this month. The Santander Cycles Spin Up class is a unique partnership between boomcycle and TfL's bike hire scheme; the free places are first-come, first served, so get signed up as quick as you can.

Wimbledon Common Half Marathon
If you've tackled various London 10k races in the last few years, maybe its time to stretch yourself with a half marathon. This picturesque Wimbledon Common route is perfect for beginners and seasoned runners alike: the event takes place four times a year, so you can come back to try and beat your time. Finish, and you'll get a Wimbledon themed medal and t-shirt to take home.
