A First Look At Junkyard Golf Club

Junkyard Golf Club has officially landed at the Old Truman Brewery — and it's literally rubbish.

Old washing machines, bits of car, a doll-infested beach house and a life-sized model cow are just some of the props used to create the three nine-hole courses, designed to look like a giant junkyard.

We teed off on opening night, and found it to be an eclectic experience, requiring extreme skills to knock a ball into a washing machine while holding a cocktail named Golf Lundgren, and dodging flying balls from other players.

If mangled dolls and crocodile tea parties isn't trippy enough for you, wait until you get to the final, UV-coated neon room. Take a look at some of the holes we tackled.

Junkyard Golf Club is at The Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane until 7 August, 11am-11pm daily. Tickets are £8.50 per person Sunday-Thursday, or £9.50 per person Friday-Saturday.
