Exchange your plain, black coffee with a tasteful creation — just add Baileys delicious Irish cream and give your hot drink a character.
Remember London Coffee Festival? It was about more than just coffee at the Baileys stand. Food creatives (and downright drink geniuses) Bompas and Parr, whipped up a selection of awe-inspiring cocktails and one magnificent Molly Bakes freakshake.
Didn't get a chance to try one for yourself? Here's how you can make our three favourite drinks at home.
Salted Caramel Flat White Martini
Simple, with a salty twist. Just mix 45ml of Baileys Original with espresso, vodka, a dash of caramel syrup and a pinch of sea salt. Add ice and shake it up in a cocktail shaker. Strain and serve with a cocoa-dusted truffle on the side. Superb.
The Full Minty
We're suckers for a pun and anything with mint. Make your own Full Minty with 50ml of Baileys Chocolat Luxe, a shot of espresso and a dash of white crème de menthe. Shake them together with a handful of ice and pour. Garnish with a mint leaf and some chocolate shavings.
Molly Bakes X Baileys Freakshake
If you like your drinks extra large (and extra sweet), this is for you. We've sampled the amazing Molly Bakes freakshakes before, but this one piled the treats even higher. Grab a good-sized jar and drizzle the inside and rim with sauces (Baileys recommends chocolate sauce and ganache). Whiz a shot of espresso with 50ml of Baileys Original, a few scoops of vanilla ice cream, a small glass of milk (add this gradually). Pour the shake into your jar and go crazy with toppings — maybe whipped cream, more sauce and a brownie like the one above. Awe-inspiring.
