On Southampton Row, nature has taken over a phone box, covering it with green leaves and flowers.
It's the work of painter Andrea Tyrimos who has reclaimed the disused box to create an artwork.
There are some references to spot in this work. The flowers are native to Andrea's recent travels to Maui and Borneo, and there are reeds as a nod to the River Fleet which used to run through the area.
Plus the constellation painted inside the phone box is of the stars we'd expect to see above London if it weren't for the pollution.
On the reverse side is a living box of plants installed by Treebox.
The entire work is an plea for a greener, cleaner London. Andrea has been working on the phone box every day over the last month. The complete article is now free to view for anyone passing by.
The living phonebox has been painted by Andrea Tyrimos in association with Treebox and Public Space Jam. It's located outside 79 Southampton Way.
