Where To Eat Thanksgiving Dinner In London 2016

24 November marks Thanksgiving for the US, and we know there will be lots of people (American or otherwise) wanting to celebrate by way of eating masses of turkey 'n' trimmins. Here are the restaurants we think are offering the best menus for Thanksgiving 2016.

Carving the turkey at Brown's hotel.

Bar Boulud

The three-course prix fixe menu includes all the classic flavours but with plenty of swishy French twists, so you're in for squash soup with truffle marshmallow and pumpkin seeds followed by a turkey feast and a pecan tarte with bourbon vanilla ice cream.

Price: £45 for three courses
When: 24 November

Bar Boulud, Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, 66 Knightsbridge, SW1X 7LA

Brad McDonald's BBQ restaurant will serve a Southern-style Thanksgiving meal beginning with devilled eggs and pimento cheese (a great start to ANY meal, surely), followed by smoked turkey, USDA brisket, country ham, white bread stuffing, two kinds of potato, creamed spinach, slaw and cornbread. Oh, that dreamy, butter-sizzlin' cornbread. Follow it up with pecan pie or banana pudding for dessert.

Price: £45
When: 24-29 November.

Shotgun, 26 Kingly Street, W1B 5QD

Le Coq

They're sticking to chicken at Le Coq

Islington rotisserie restaurant Le Coq will be serving an American inspired menu including plump turkey cooked on the rotisserie, buttermilk chicken wings and pumpkin pie. There will also be plenty of pickle backs, to get everyone in a festive mood.

Price: £35 for three courses
When: till 27 November

Le Coq, 292-294 St Paul's Road, N1 2LH

Christopher's, 18 Wellington Street, WC2E 7DD

Hix Mayfair

Hix Mayfair at Brown’s Hotel will be serving a menu of woodland mushroom soup with cheese croutons and pecan relish, followed by roast turkey with cornbread stuffing and sides. Pumpkin pie comes with Peruvian gold chocolate. Fancy.
