This may be a rowdier Valentine's date than a nice dinner in a restaurant, but if you're with someone who doesn't appreciate a good giggle you might want to look around for someone else to take to the third Sex Appeal charity comedy night.
Hosted by Al Murray, all proceeds go to Brook, which is the only national voluntary organisation providing free and confidential sexual health advice and services for under 25s. It's a top line-up too, with an excellent mixture of established and newer comics, observational and edgy political comedy and – highly unusual – more women than men. Fill your boots with sets from Ava Vidal, Chris Coltrane, Francesca Martinez, Kate Smurthwaite, Mae Martin, Robin Ince, Shappi Khorsandi, Shazia Mirza and Vikki Stone.
Sex Appeal III: "Mélange à trois" takes place on 15 February, 7pm, at the Bloomsbury Theatre. Tickets cost £18.50 + £2.50 booking fee. You can read more on the Sex Appeal website but if your workplace is offended by pictures of dildos, maybe wait until you get home.
