From the Archive

Here's a smorgasbord of goodies from 10 January over the years: a look at All Hallows By The Tower as part of our London's small museums series, a discussion with the team who haul London's refuse along the Thames for incineration in our Londonist Out Loud podcast, finding the panoramas of lost London and a guide to London's many execution sites (OK, that one's from 11 Jan but we couldn't resist).

Londoddities

A final piece of Sherlock to finish the week off. Ladies and gentlemen, we present the great detective's toilet, as displayed at the Sherlock Holmes Museum. Is this where Dr Watson keeps his log? Where Holmes investigated the Adventure of the Copper Breeches?
