Following the brilliant summer festival of comedy, the Phoenix pub on Cavendish Square is at it again – this time with a Winter Weekender.
For a mere £8.80 each (including booking fee) you can see shows from Alan Davies, Al Murray, Bridget Christie pairing up with Kevin Eldon, Nina Conti with Mae Martin, Mitch Benn, Mark Thomas, among others. The sets might be work in progress and experimental, or specials created just for the festival (those unusual duos, we're looking at you), but what can't be denied is that this is a chance to see some fantastic comedy from people you'd normally have to shell out stadium prices for. And when it comes to Alan Davies, he's been doing relatively small venues in London for a while but they are always sold out way in advance. Grab your ticket while you can.
If you fancy catching multiple shows there are also 'session' tickets available for three or four shows, depending on which you go for, costing £22 including booking fee.
