UKRAINE: Days of Ukraine is a festival celebrating the rich history and culture of Ukraine, including concerts, art and fashion. Until 19 October

LIT: Nick Barlay and Eve Harris talk about representation and living history in literature at the Wiener Library. Free, prebook, 1pm

CUTTY SARK: Join curator Jessica Lewis for a tour of the Cutty Sark, where you'll discover the secrets of the ship’s success and learn about the recent conservation project to preserve her. £15/£12, prebook, 3.30-4.30pm

PHYSICS ART: Particle physicist Dr Ben Still and visual artist Lyndall Phelps' artwork Covariance (situated in the Victorian ice wells at the Canal Museum) closes this Sunday. Catch it before then and hear the artists discuss the collaboration. Free, prebook, 5.30pm

Good Cause of the Day

Today is the UN International Day for the Eradication of Poverty and to mark it ATD Fourth World, a charity that works to support families living in poverty, is holding four days of events. Activities include a roundtable discussion, live music, cabaret and family day. Until 20 October
