Truck Stop: Britain's Best Food Trucks Come To Canary Wharf

0107_truckstopCombining street food, craft beer, hard liquor and milk floats, Truck Stop is a mobile foodie convoy that'll be rolling into Canary Wharf on the first Thursday and Friday of July, August and September.

A £10 ticket gets you entry and $10 worth of 'truck stop dollars' which you can spend on drinks. Food comes from Mama's Jerk Station, Anna Mae's and Mother Clucker among others (here's a full list), while libations will be taken care of by Rotary and a craft beer bar. Larger groups can book tables at the Smoke Barbecue pit. And because no self-respecting street food event would be complete without one, there's also a taco shack. Oh, and once you get bored of manoeuvring foodstuffs into your mouth, you can also listen to live music and admire a collection of classic American cars.

Truck Stop is at Wood Wharf (nearest station Canary Wharf). Buy tickets here. It runs on 4 / 5 July, 1 / 2 August and 5 / 6 September.
